Aah The Allagash, Every outdoor adventure affects people differently. From weekend warriors to the avid outdoorsmen everyone takes away something unique from the experience. For some it’s a one and done, for others it can have profound affects on their soul. Almost as if when you leave you feel like you are leaving something behind. Well, for me, the Allagash did just that. It allowed me to leave a little bit of my soul behind in order to never forget it. As I paddled deeper and further along this remote wilderness waterway, something became clear to me . This trip was different, it was not going to be my typical adrenaline filled adventure. The Allagash tapped into a side of me that hasn’t been felt for a while. It gave me a true feeling of serenity which I feel can only be felt in remote environments. For me it was the Allagash. What a memorable trip.
