Campsites on the Allagash are generally well-maintained and each provides a stone fireplace, a large picnic table and outhouse. Each picnic table has a ridgepole which allows for a nice tarp setup. Campsites are all first-come first-served. Some sites are designed for multiple parties, determined by the number of picnic tables and as indicated on the map.

The campsites can be truly spectacular. Below are notes on some of the campsites along with photographs that I have. Please join in the conversation and add your observations and pictures!
